Rentals in the Great Room at Old Town Hall

Bedford’s Old Town Hall, at 16 South Road, sits proudly in Bedford’s historic Town Center, facing the Town Common. It was built in 1856 in the Italianate style and initially served as both a Town Meeting hall and a public school.

Today, the 1st floor is headquarters for the Bedford Historical Society; the 2nd floor is leased to Bedford’s local community cable TV station.

The Great Room can be rented for numerous types of events, including:

The beautifully-decorated Great Room, located on the 3rd floor, is available for rentals accommodating up to 100 people.

Connected to the Great Room is a catering kitchen and an historic, picturesque spiral staircase. Off the 3rd floor hallway leading to the Great Room are two large handicapped accessible restrooms.

The Great Room also offers a large retractable projector screen, a projector, and a speaker system with microphone built into a podium. WiFi also is available.
